Career Guidance & Placement Cell

Career Guidance and Placement Cell is the backs bone any Academic Institution. CGP of A.V.P. College of Arts and Science acts as a channel for the students of various disciplines to imbibe skills related to career which helps them to become successful in the competitive world. It is functioning under the effective and efficient guidance of Principal, Placement Coordinator, and Placement Officer in charge and Assistant Coordinators from various departments of the college. The Placement Cell organizes Career Guidance Programs for all the students starting from first year. The cell organizes training programs like Mock Interviews, Group Discussions, Communication Skills and Workshop especially for the final year students.

It also invites HR Managers from different industries to conduct training programmes for final year students. The students are trained to attain placement through a variety of programmes run by the Career Guidance & Placement Cell such as Industry to Institute Programmes – Corporate leaders from leading industries are invited regularly to interact with students. Various Training Programmes are organized to train the students in the areas of Aptitude, Quantitative Reasoning, Logical Reasoning and Verbal through the Career Guidance and Placement Cell. Besides, Technical training, Language learning programs is being conducted by technical experts and language trainers. Coaching Classes are also given for attending Civil Service Exams and Bank Exams.
